Mr. Rochon is the President of Rochon Engineering Corporation; he specializes in matters dealing with forensic engineering including fire and explosion investigations, electrical failures, slip and fall incidents, lighting studies, mining and smelter operators, timber and logging operations, lightning incidents, vehicle and heavy equipment fires and the evaluation of fire and security alarm systems. He received a Graduate Degree from Queen’s University in Electrical Engineering and is licensed to practice both electrical engineering and fire protection engineering in the Province of Ontario. Mr. Rochon also has extensive knowledge in Fire and Life Safety Codes and Standards. During his career, Mr. Rochon has worked for the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office, the Dominion Fire Commissionaire’s Office and Ontario Hydro. Mr. Rochon has instructed several courses including “Fire and Explosion Investigations”, “Electrical Equipment/Post-Fire Analysis”, “Fire Investigation Techniques”, “Marine Fire Investigations”, “Vehicle Fire Investigations,” and “Computer Fire Modeling”. He has also testified at numerous trials from Provincial Court up to the Supreme Court of Ontario.
