Mr. Poon, of Rochon Engineering Corporation, specializes in structural, geotechnical, environmental, and building science engineering. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Degree in Civil Engineering and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. Mr. Poon’s specialty is provide a forensic analysis in the cause of structural failures and to provide a structural assessment on damage caused by fires, explosion, vibration, ground movement, wind and snow load, vehicle impact and water infiltration.  Mr. Poon is a qualified designer with the Ontario Building Code and holds a BCIN with the Ontario Ministry of Housing.

Before joining Rochon Engineering Corporation, Mr. Poon was working as a Project Coordinator and Project Engineer for various infrastructure construction contractors including Aecon Construction and Dufferin Construction by providing on-site engineering and project management.  He took part in a number of large-scale infrastructure projects including Hwy. 69, QEW, and Hwy. 11.
