Slip & Falls and Personal Injuries Stairs, landings, ramps and floor finishes must be constructed in accordance with the building code and other relevant codes and standards. In order to verify that stairs, landings and ramps have been constructed and maintained properly, Rochon Engineering Corporation will conduct an in-depth site inspection. We can also test floor finish slip resistance using the Brungraber Mark II slip resistance tester (see photograph on right). The small size of the Brungraber Mark II allows for its portability and can be used to test slip resistance in relatively small areas such as stairs, showers and bathtubs. We can also test the slip resistance of a floor using a variety of shoe sole materials under wet and dry conditions. The Brungraber is ASTM certified making comparative testing seamless and accurate.
